Head of Rig Integration, Horizon56

Role description

Become a part of the of Horizon56 that are digitalizing the drilling industry. As Head of Rig Integration you will work in close with the deployment team and provide input for new projects and solution for the company. You will be primary responsible for managing the integration of the Horizon56 software suits applications in co-operation with the development and deployment team. You will report to the Head of Deployment, Michael Olsen.

Your responsibilities

  • Define and implement technical requirements for the infrastructure in coordination with clients.
  • Oversee the implementation of technology solutions
  • Specifying and deploying solutions for software application.
  • Specify and drive setup of data collection source.
  • Write documentation and guidelines.

Your contribution

We expect you to hold a degree in Engineering or similar, preferable in a related area such as automation, network, electrical or similar. Furthermore, you come with a minimum of 5 years of work experience. The ideal candidate has a background in the O&G industry working with design, support or implementation. More specifically, we are looking for the following competencies:

  • You have a relevant degree in engineering or similar within a relevant field.
  • Competence and previous experience within implementation of new technology.
  • Related engineering experience e.g. Software, IT Services, Hardware in an international environment.
  • Technical contract drafting skills.
  • Responsible for hardware in offshore installation.

You possess strong communication skills, both orally and in writing and appear to be systematic, structured, and analytical. You have excellent analytical, planning and organization-skills, which enable you to continuously set direction, keep an overview of the state of progress and prioritize accordingly. With your strong logical ability, you succeed in transforming complex information from the scoping phase, to execution and completion. You have leadership skills and a proven ability to network, build trust in your relationships and get commitment form internal and external stakeholders. You will have to be curious and eager to challenge the status quo in a respectful way to ensure the pragmatic solutions are brought forward in a swift manner. This will require an independent approach combined with an agile mindset and good stakeholder skills.
